God called his child, Thomas, home on Jan. 3, 2019. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a true gentleman. His shining smile and generous heart will live on in all who had the privilege to know and love him.

He is also survived by his step-children Teresa Berg of Oregon, Kevin Smith of California, Julie Keel of California, and Michael Hamilton of Dillon, Montana.

Tom proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served in the California Highway Patrol in El Centro, California and Santa Rosa, California areas. He retired from the CHP after 29 years of service in December 1996.

Tom, La Verne and Michael moved to Dillon, Montana in 2006. They love Montana and enjoyed their retirement years together in Dillon, Montana. La Verne and Michael still reside in Dillon, Montana, and he is sadly missed.
