Mask up

Wednesday, July 29, 2020

To the editor,

Imagine this. Two men are standing on the sidewalk talking..They’ve been standing about three feet apart. The sidewalk is busy. Dudley and Joe have been friends for a long time. They talk for about 10 minutes about this and that and then say their goodbyes.

Ten days later Joe’s wife calls Dudley and tells him that Joe died from Coronavirus!

What a different outcome it would have been if Dudley had worn his mask.

Not to wear a mask is pure selfishness.

To wear a mask means and shows that you care about your fellow human beings.

So get out your mask and wear it.

Our leaders need to set an example, but that isn’t happening in Dillon.
