Larry Roe Coon

Larry Roe Coon passed away on Jan. 11, 2020 at his home in Dillon, Montana.

Larry was born April 25, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Larry and Connie Coon. In 1971 they moved to Riverton, Utah, and in 1976, they moved to Bozeman, Montana. Larry moved to Dillon, Montana in March of 1977, where he spent most of his life. He attended Beaverhead County High School. Once he graduated, he joined the Navy.

Larry spent four years in the Navy, where he was a Tractor Driver on the USS America CV-66-V-1 Division. While in the Navy, Larry served in Desert Storm. Larry met a lot of great people during his enlistment and has continued to stay connected to them.

Larry was well-liked by everyone that he came in contact with. Larry was the type of person that would go above and beyond to help anyone that was in need. Larry was well known in the community, and could always make someone laugh.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother Connie Coon, and his father Larry Coon.

Larry is survived by his siblings and their families: Randy Ford, Melody Padalla, Robyn Ford, Mark Ford, Lori Ford, Mandy Coon and Shawna Bellis.

Larry will be missed by all those that knew him. Funeral services will be held on Jan. 31, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., at the Brundage Funeral Home, with a potluck to follow at the 4-H building.
