A Helena man accused of sexual contact without consent was found guilty and received a deferred sentence last week in Fifth Judicial District Court.Ridge Cormack Troupe, 20, entered an Alford plea to the misdemeanor sexual assault charge for an incident that occurred in February 2021 in Dillon. An Alford plea allows a defendant to maintain their innocence while recognizing they could be convicted on the facts of a case in a trial.
