Donna Lee DesRosier Spuhler 1938-2019

Donna Lee DesRosier Spuhler passed away on September 13th, in St. James Hospital, Butte, Montana. Donna was born October 3D, 1934 in Twin Bridges, Montana, to Albert “Babe DesRosier and

Aleah DesRosier. She was raised in the Twin Bridges/ Silver Star area and graduated from Twin Bridges High School in 1953. Donna was a hard worker all her life as evidenced by her jobs working at the Twin Bridges Movie Theater as a teenager, clerical help in several insurance agencies, Butte Credit Bureau, Sears Store in Havre, Montana, and selling real estate in Dillon.

Donna married Lee Spuhler of Sheridan, Montana, in 1955. They were parents to Brian Lee Spuhler and Kevin Scott Spuhler. During their married life they resided in Sheridan, Missoula, and Fromberg, Montana; Utah; Lake Isabella, California; Havre and Dillon, Montana, where Lee was employed in the education field. Their last residence was in Dillon, where Donna retired from the real estate business and Lee retired as Doctor of Education at Montana Western College.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Kevin, and brother-in-law Leroy Jensen. She is survived by her son, Brian Spuhler of Anaconda, Montana; her ex-daughter-in-Iaw Sheri Spuhler of Absarokee, Montana; grandchildren Josh (Laura) Spuhler of Bozeman, Montana; Hannah (Alex) Bollinger of North Dakota; Heather (Geoffrey) Wicks of Bozeman, Montana. Her great grandchildren are Ayla and Toric Spuhler; Drew, Aleah and Leo Bollinger; Xirae and Kwinz Wicks. She is also survived by her brother Dennis (Nikki) DesRosier, Helena, Montana, and sister Sally Jensen, Divide, Montana.

It should be noted Donna had a very special relationship with her graduating classmates from the Twin Bridges High School, a bond that lasted throughout the years. A heartfelt thanks to her many special friends.

At her request there will be no services and she will be buried beside her husband and son, Kevin, at Sheridan, Montana.
