Two defensive standoouts, a coach, and a former player who is now a coach will represent Dillon in the 75th Annual Montana East-West Shrine Game. The game will kickoff Saturday, 7 p.m., from Memorial Stadium in Great Falls.

On the field, Dillon defensive standouts Jonathan Kirkley will line-up at outside linebacker and Callahan Hoffman will play defensive end. If you are watching the telecast, Kirkley will be wearing number 81 and Hoffman number 61. Sheridan tight end Kaiden Batzler will be number 84.

Long-time Dillon assistant coach Brett Carver will assist his son Bryce Carver on the West staff. Bryce is the head coach at Hamilton and in this allstar game. Bryce has headed Hamilton for five years and guided the team to three state A title games, winning his first this past fall. Brett has been a key assistant on the Dillon Beaver staff coaching both offensive and defensive lines for a program that since 2000 has played in 12 and won eight Montana Class A state football titles.

The Montana East-West Shrine Game, one of the oldest high school all-star football game in the nation, has been played since 1947 and in the last 10 years has raised almost $1 millon for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Spokane, Washington.
