The Dillon Cubs last weekend vaulted out of a losing skid and into a forward roll of victories to conclude their regular season and propel themselves into the postseason, starting tomorrow.
The Cubs overwhelmed the Anaconda A’s, 18-0 and 13-1, in a road doubleheader Friday evening, and then swept aside the Deer Lodge Wranglers, 16-6 and 18-8, in Dillon on Saturday.
“This was a nice way to end the regular season,” said Cubs Head Coach Greg Fitzgerald after the Cubs sweep of Deer Lodge in Dillon on Saturday.
