County fair, Jaycees rodeo given the OK to proceed

Plans to put on some version of the Beaverhead County Fair and annual Jaycees Rodeo were given the thumbs up Friday by the public health board, but not the Jaycees concert.

A divided Beaverhead County/City Board of Health approved coronavirus-mitigation plans for the fair, the animal sale and the auction, as previously proposed with some minor adjustments. The rodeo plans were also approved with similar changes. Representatives from both the fair board and Jaycees agreed to change them as needed, as state and local conditions related to coronavirus cases change.
