The Beaverhead County DUI Task Force is set to meet today, Wednesday, July 8, at noon, in the Commissioners Room of the Beaverhead County Courthouse in Dillon.

Community group meets today

The premiere screening of “The Aerialist” will happen Saturday, July 11, at 1 p.m. in Big Sky Cinema, 560 N. Montana St. in Dillon. Museum hrs. reset

The Beaverhead County Museum at 15 S. Montana St. in downtown Dillon, has reopened and is maintaining hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, call 683-5027.

Sr. Center open again

The Beaverhead Senior Center at 126 S. Montana St. has reopened, operating during the same hours it did prior to closing earlier this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The weekly Congregate Meals program at the Senior Center has yet to resume. Senior Center visitors can wear masks or face coverings at their discretion, but will need to sign a waiver. SMAC cancellations, reschedulings

The Southwest Montana Arts Council (SMAC) has canceled its 2020 Dinner in the Park concerts that take place every July in Jaycee Park in downtown Dillon due to “social distancing concerns, and governmental regulation uncertainties surrounding the COVID 19 virus.” The annual SMAC-sponsored performance by Shakespeare in the Park set for this summer in Dillon has also been canceled due to the performance company in Bozeman calling off its 2020 tour until further notice. SMAC’s performances of the play Barefoot in the Park, as well as its hosting of the Wild and Scenic Film Festival that had been set for April will be rescheduled to a later date, when season tickets for its 2019–2020 season will be honored.
