Betty McNinch Tyler passed away peacefully in her sleep Dec. 3, 2017. Betty was born Jan. 25, 1941, to Roy and Nellie McNinch of Lima, Mont.

She married Donald Tyler on Sept. 7, 1958. Together they had four children, Donna (Tris) Stout, of Lewistown, MT; Mike (Carma) Tyler of Dillon, MT; Cindy (Bob) Wieferich of Sullivan, IL, and Brad (Erin) Tyler of Bonney Lake, WA.

Betty was an amazing, stubborn, opinionated loving lady who never met a stranger. She loved camping (her favorite was Kitty Creek), taking rides and playing pinochle. You could always find Betty watching her favorite sports teams play on T.V. She loved the Denver Broncos and the Portland Trail Blazers.

Cooking dinner, telling stories and being the life of the party is something everyone will miss about Betty.

Betty is survived by her children; her best friend and sister Elizabeth (Bessie) Reeves; 11 grandchildren: Melissa, Brittany, Kristen, Ashlee, Heather, Kayla, Korrin, Aliana, Zach, Olivia and Jasmine; four greatgrandchildren: Hunter, Kaydan, Kynzlee and Xavier.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald (1988); husband Mike Johnston (2010); granddaughter Kassie (2014); siblings Mabel, Mary, Opal, Cecil and niece Bernice.

A graveside service will be held at the Lima Cemetery on June 9, at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to a potluck picnic up Kitty Creek.
