Jason Morris returned home Wednesday morning. Beaverhead County officials are still looking for information on Derek Gore.

Original story is as follows:

Beaverhead County officials are looking for two missing Dillon men, both who disappeared the first week of October.

Jason Morris, 46, went missing Oct. 1. The 5-foot-7-inch tall, 190-pound man was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue denim shirt.

“Jason had been acting out of character recently and may be at risk of self-harm,” according to the Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Office notice. A pistol was missing from Morris’ truck. The vehicle was found near Lone Tree Campground at Clark Canyon Reservoir south of Dillon.

Derek Lee Gore, 29, was last seen in town Oct. 2. Gore is 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, and is likely riding his motorcycle, a 2014 KTM orange and black Enduro.

“Derek usually keeps in daily contact with his parents but has not contacted them at all,” the missing notice stated. “His phone has been deactivated.

Beaverhead County Sheriff Paul Craft told the Montana Standard the investigation indicates both men knew each other and had frequent contact. He told the newspaper they both expressed to family and friends their interest in looking for jobs out of state. They were both alive and on the road somewhere, he said.

Those with information regarding either man are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 406-683-3700.
