The Sagebrush and Snowdrifts 4-H club had their meeting at the 4-H building at 7:00 p.m. November 7th. Our president, John Weldon, called the meeting to order and Kelly Webster led the 4-H pledge and Evie Wilson led the American pledge.

Jacob Weldon, gave the treasurer's report. We discussed old and new business. Secret Petersen asked if anyone would be willing to help with the Community Thanksgiving Dinner held at the St.Rose of Lima family center on Thanksgiving Day. Anyone wanting to help needs to contact Carice Yuhas or the Family Center. We voted to do a Thanksgiving basket to some family within our community. Gavin Wilson’s family will put the basket together and deliver it to the Social Service Center for a family. We are also giving a Christmas gift to a needy family. Members signed up for different committees for the new 4-H year.

Secret Petersen, Sage McKnight, Evie Wilson, and Kelly Webster are on the committee for the Christmas Party and meeting.

We received awards and money for ribbons and other awards given from this past year of projects.

On October 11th the Beaverhead Buckaroos held our first meeting of the new 4-H year including officer elections appointing: Katie Johnson as President, Alydia Wendland as V.P., Koen Malesich as Treasurer, Heather Smith as Secretary, Paige Smith and Blake Schnee as our Recreational Officers, Tessa Johnson, Zoe Vinson and Lane Wendland as Historians and Casalon Nowlin as Reporter. Then on our November 8th meeting we recognized members with special awards & record book excellence from the previous year.

The Buckaroos would like to give special thanks to the First Presbyterian Church for allowing us to use their space over the past 4-H year while the new 4-H building was under construction. We are grateful for their kindness & generosity. And it’s fundraising time! All 4-H clubs are selling Butter Braids and Montana Made Gifts through November 28th and early December to raise funds for our 4-H Council which supports ALL Beaverhead County 4-H Clubs. Both make for great holiday items so don’t miss out!
