#4 BCHS boys track & fields, 2nd at state A

The Dillon Beaver boys track and field earned second place in the final team standings at the state A meet in March for rookie head coach Jeremy Anderson.

Treyton Anderson, a junior and the coaches son, dominated both hurdle races for gold, and he came away with the maximum seven medals.

Callahan Hoffman, a junior, won the state discus title. Daxon Graham and Cole Truman were Dillon’s only seniors. Graham took second to Anderson in the 300 hurdles, and Truman earned second in javelin.

The fourth place 4X100 relay included Eli Nourse, Kee Christiansen, Treyton Anderson and Daxon Graham. The fifth place 4X400 relay included Caden Hansen, Treyton Anderson, Max Davis and Daxon Graham.

The Dillon track and field programs have developed into powerhouses. The boys won state crowns in 2016 and 2019, and second in 2017 and 2021. The girls were first in 2018, second in 2019, and third in 2017.
