Weather, a deadline and events in the coming days

WEATHER
Monday: About a 40 percent chance of precipitation in the hours around dawn, with temperatures rising from a near 20 degrees to a high in the mid-40s in early afternoon, when winds from the west pick up to around 15 mph.
Monday Night: Almost no chance of precipitation, with temperatures dropping steadily after dusk to a low in the mid-20s and SW winds of around 8 mph.

Tuesday: Temperatures will peak in just the mid-30s in the afternoon, with SW winds of 8–14 mph and little to no chance of precipitation.
Tuesday Night: About a 20 percent chance of snow in the hours after dusk rising to around 50 percent in the hours around midnight, with temperatures dropping into the high 20s and winds blowing from the southwest 8–12 mph.

SD #10 Board meets Mon.
The Dillon Elementary School District #10 Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Monday, Nov. 27, starting at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the search for a new superintendent to succeed Dr. Glen Johnson, who will be retiring after the end of the current school year in June. Legos at Library Tues.

Swim lessons start next week
Swim lessons for kids as young as 2 years old will start Monday, Dec. 4, at the Southwestern Montana Family YMCA in Dillon. Sessions will Mondays through Thursdays Dec. 4–14 for three age groups—2-year olds 5–5:30 p.m.; 3–5-year olds 5:30–6 p.m. and ages 6-and-up also 5:30–6 p.m. The cost is $32 for Y members, $52 for non-members. Maverick seeking instructors
The Maverick Mountain Ski School in Polaris is looking for people willing to teach students the fundamentals of skiing and snowboarding, staring in January 2018. The school is open Thursday–Sunday, with the middle two days the heaviest for instruction. Instructors will get, among other things, a season pass and discounts on food and drink at Maverick.
