Weather, Events and a Deadline in coming days

WEATHER
Monday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures rising from around freezing at dawn into the mid-50s in the afternoon, when there will be a 15 percent chance of precipitation and winds from the south will pick up to over 10 mph and gusts could reach 25 mph.
Monday Night: Chance of precipitation will rise to around 25 percent after midnight, when Southern winds will calm to below 10 mph and temperatures will continue to drop toward a low near freezing at dawn.

Tuesday: Cooler under partly cloudy skies, with high temperatures in just the high 30s in the afternoon, when there will be about a 15 percent chance of precipitation and SSW winds will slow to below 10 mph.
Tuesday Night: CHILL ALERT! Wind chill temperatures could drop below 10 degrees, with temperatures falling into the 20s after midnight and SSW winds pick up to over 10 mph.

Egan reading Mon.

Chamber meets Tues.

The Beaverhead Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture will hold its next board meeting at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Dillon City Council Chambers, 125 N. Idaho St. in downtown Dillon. The public is welcome to attend.

Blood Drive Tues.
A United Blood Services Blood Drive hosted by St. Rose of Lima Church, 202 S. Atlantic St. in Dillon, will take place noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14. For appointments, go to www.bloodhero.com (code: Dillon) or call 683-5862.

Legos at Library Tues.
Kids can build simple structures or construct elaborate projects over the course of a month at the weekly Legos in the Library workshop Tuesdays, 4–6 p.m. in the Dillon Public Library, 121 S. Idaho St. in downtown Dillon. For more information, call the Library at 683-4544.

Kids computer programming Tues.
Children aged 10-and-up can learn the basics and more advanced skills of computer programming 6–8 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Dillon Public Library. On the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month during the same hours, kids can also participate in Family Game Night at the Library, 121 S. Idaho St. in downtown Dillon. Bazaar deadline Wed.
Non-profit groups and organizations interested in participating in the 46th Annual St. Rose Christmas Bazaar by selling crafts, candies, baked goods, etc. should call Fran at 683-4329 or Jeannette at 683-4504 by November 15 to reserve booth space. The booth fee is $20 per organization and groups need to provide their own tables. The event will take place on Saturday, December 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Rose Family Center in Dillon.
