Class C boys’ basketball



Dee Mayer and Gavin Duck combined for 46 points, as the Lima Bears won easily at home, 75-35, over Leadore on Friday night. The LIma defense shut down Leadore and caused 21 turnovers in the game.  Mayer led the powerful Bears offense with 24 points, followed closely by Duck, who had 22.  They were joined in double figures by Kaden Lappe, with 12 points, and Stephen Herriott with 11.  The Bears also got contributions in their lopsided win from Guy Hales, with 4 points, and Graden Greenslade, with 2.

Twin Bridges

The Falcons were just up the road on Saturday, when they lost 44-69 at Whitehall. Nolan Konen and Jerricho Broksle each scored 11 for Twin in the game to lead all scorers. Tristen Guillot chipped in 7 points for the visitors, followed by Gabe Johnson, with 5, Tracen Eggers, with 4, and the trio of Garrett Armstrong, Woody Puckett, and Wesley Armstrong, who each scored 2.


Sheridan dropped its first game of the weekend to Manhattan Christian on Friday night, when the Panthers were led by Seth Green, with 10 points, Sam Wood and  Cheyenne Fuller, each with 5, Tristen Horn, who had 4 points, and Xavier Harris with 2. Sheridan again came up on the short side of the board on Saturday, when it fell to Gardiner, 85-50.  The Panthers were led in this game again by Green, who scored 12, followed by Colter Kenworthy and Fuller, who each had 11, and Wood with 10.
